Let's dignify The Thugs of Hindostan.

There is hardly anyone who enjoyed that somnolent history lecture in their alma maters. With the pace of time, teachers discovered a different technique i.e. smart classes. With this pinheaded idea, some kids consider the video as lullaby, some ergophobics act as if focusing, some technomaniacs update the stories of somniferous lectures by covertly capturing the picture of that teacher and smart teachers keep an eye on  the back benchers only. In the whole class, there is hardly anyone who is interested in it. Unfortunately, smart class has nothing smart in it, hand side, it weakens the imagination power too.
Now the question arises, why would a common man spend ₹200 to ₹300 to watch such a dull movie? And how could we expect Bollywood to show the veracity of history? They aren't from the department of history, it isn't their job either. Their job is to entertain the public, which they're doing fantastically. The protagonist of Thugs of Hindostan i.e Firangi Mallah (Amir Khan) has acted very well, Khudabaksh Azad's (Amitabh Bachchan) dialogues are well written and audaciously spoken, and Zafira's (Fatima Sana Shaikh) role was so gallant that gave goosebumps.
And Prophets of dooms are unnecessarily reviewing it as a satirical challenge to the nationalist imagination of the past. This is the exaggeration of thoughts, it's just a movie man! And why would a person choose to watch a film to be imbibed with the history of India? And the ones who'll even choose, would surely be the gullible ones.
Apart from this, there are n number of movies which aren't true tellers. Directors have to add smidgen of spices in the script to make it spellbinding and interesting. Otherwise, it would be like that stereotypical history lecture which is worth sleeping.
