Somebody asked, what's the yardstick of calling a man literate? Is it a number of degrees he possess or how well does he speak English? When I was in Alma mater, I used to think. And with the pace of time, I realized the answer. Applications of education must be ubiquitous, then only a man will be tagged as literate.

For Diwali, time is 8-10 pm and for New year and Christmas, it is 11:45 pm-12:15 am. SC banned sales of crackers on e-commerce websites as well. And beware all the SHOs to make sure that no one could sell banned crackers in their respective areas, failing to which they will be held liable.
Our detrimental activities lead to this punitive decision. If people had taken action by their own, the condition have not been deteriorated. SC don't want to restrict people, as it said, people have a right to livelihood. But on the other hand, people have a right to health too, and it's a duty of government to take care of its 1.3 billion citizens. And Government is burning candles at both ends but citizens should also comprehend their obligations towards the nation and environment. We all are bounded by traditions, but it doesn't restrain us to think beyond. It provides universally accepted logic behind performing rituals. It is flexible according to time, man exploits it for his gluttonous purposes. So why can't we go for an alternative way of celebration? SC will restrict you with legal obligations, SHO won't let you buy the banned crackers, vanguards will deliver wax rhapsodic speeches to persuade you. All have a same destination. After so many solicitations also, if you are still bursting crackers. It means you remain an illiterate and about 20 years of education has gone into vain. So be a sophisticated one and not a mulish one.
