Allahabad to Prayagraj

Prayagraj is not just a name, it's a religious history in itself. In Sanskrit, it is known as the place of sacrifice where Brahma (creator of universe as per the Hindu mythology) did sacrifice for the first time. In hindi, प्र means first + याग means yagya (a procedure to preach god). It is a place where Brahma did yagya for the first time. About 443 years ago, 3rd Mughal Emperor Akbar gave it a name  Illahabas and then 5th Mughal Emperor Shah jahan came into the power and he called it as Illahabad, Illah means god + abad means to set up. The place which is originated by god. After that, The British Emperor came and Illahabad became Allahabad in English language. But the devine beauty lies in it's authenticity. It gives a euphoric & a bona fide sound, so now it gets its originality back.
Earlier, Rig vedas & other holy texts named it as Prayagraj. There is a trifuence of Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati, which shows a sacrality of this place. And In every 12 years, the Kumbh fest is also been organised. People finds an immortal necter in the river, So they just plung into the river and feel euphemistic. Ram, Lakshman, and Sita's exile also started form Prayagraj only, they offered prayer at that place.
Contrary to this, it's a Sisyphean task to rename places on the basis of historical background. Every place have its own share of history, that doesn't mean that we should rename each & every place, unless it is significant. As CM Yogi Adityanath has recently renamed many places like Mughalsarai to Deendayal Upadhyaya, Ali nagar to Arya nagar, Humayun nagar to Hanuman Nagar and etc. and many others are in controversies. The most important thing is development, which a Vanguard must focus on.

Rajasthan government is on the track to centralization

Centralization as a system is inconsistent with a non-violent structure of society  - Mahatma Gandhi The more the concentration of power...
